« on: September 23, 2013, 11:14:50 PM »
i got this turbo kit from a member on here Kev2769. its got a borg warner turbo from bullseye S372 with an s400 frame, dual tial wastegates, tial blow off valve, truck manifolds, 60lb injectors, down pipe, custom radiator, intercooler and all piping, 2bar MAP, oil feed and drain lines.  i'm in the process of installing the kit, but if someone want it i'll sell it.  i have the hinson motor mount kit and he had the samberg.  this kit was built for a samberg mount kit.  the downpipe needs to be changed if going into a car with the hinson swap kit.

text or call for pictures.  616-510-0793.

the turbo kit made 587rwhp and 599ft/lbs at 11.5 lbs of boost on a stock ls1 with 317's.

Video of the 10.59 pass with 1.49 60ft
This was my first pass with the turbo setup.

So I take it you can't use an air filter on this set up, looks like the turbo inlet is to close to the radiator. Is that right or am I just seeing stuff?

You can put a screen but not a filter unless you modify a radiator setup to give more room.
The whole idea was to not get hot air from the engine bay but of course it leaves the turbo open for other possibilities.

The plan is to use a screen. Where the turbo sits and how the inlet is I wouldn't be worried about it at all.
