Do the people who make this kit make any recommendation pertaining to the fact that the pan sump is now oriented at the wrong end of the engine for hard acceleration, much less cornering hard under acceleration?  I'm not asking this question because I'm flat six biased, if I had one of these swaps I'd be dry sumping that thing.

Edit: I forgot 996 N/A cars had that integrated sump thing.  I stopped fooling with them once they added water.

In all the articles I've seen about this swap no one complains about oil starvation. The suggestion of using dry sump a is a good one which be added insurance, good call!

Next time this bitch gives me problems, I know what I'm doing.[attachimg=1]

I like your problems more than my problems, LOL.

OP, sorry this is off topic, we do that around here.  :D    Plus, we are (almost) all drooling over your car.  Lots of free bumps.  ;)

Renegade Hybrids makes the kit.

I only mention it because it seems that's the only real shortcoming LS engines have anyway... and mounting it backwards sure won't help.

I wondered about the too, but it looks like there is a whole lotta room to put in a big pan with kickouts on the sides to hold a high volume of oil, not as cool as dry sump, but a lot cheaper and you don't have to find a spot for a tank.

Does the car have heat or did you delete the heater core too?  I know someone that may be interested in this car.

Is there any chance I could come look at this thing sometime?  I live in San Diego.   I'm not really a potential buyer (wife would probably kill me), so i'll understand if you don't wanna waste time, but I'd love to check it out if you're willing to meet up.  I'll bring my "boring" LS1 FD  :yay:
