You would be making the mounts and buying the driveshaft from a driveshaft shop.

I'm assuming this is supposed to say "KA24DE".  My next question is why?  KA's have picked up in value recently, I see good (used) motorsets selling for $1k sometimes lol.

Get a better engine that'll be worth the cost to install it.

If you want a ka and a 25 year old car, just buy a 240? Does not make sense to swap the motor in an rx7.

I have the rx7 already and I'm getting the ka23de for the a good price plus its not a common swap that's why but I figured I would have to get it fabricated

Not a common swap isn't necessarily a positive thing.

I do wish you good luck on your project though.  Make sure you show some pictures.

Well. If you're concerned at all with price, my first thought would not be a project which has to be newly "engineered" in large part. That will be more of a difference in cost than starting with a better engine. There are also other less common and still cheap motors which would be more worthwhile.

The Mazda 2.0l that came in Kia SUVs lol. That guy in South Africa swapped one into an FD, looks cool, lemme find it.

Bunch of other motors you could look at too.

its not a common swap

There's a reason.  If I were making a list of "engines that would be better than the rotary in an RX7 and worth the effort to swap", this particular Nissan turd would not be on it.

unless you own a turbo ls9 rx7 you do not know what the fuck you are talking about.

I will eventually go turbo, I know there other better motors out there and all but I rather have something unique that stands out and I will post up pictures when its complete for those who ask it shouldn't be long

I don't think it will really stand out though, park it next to an s13, pop both hoods and they both look the same with pop up headlights.

Its not always the inside that makes a car stands out,  motor might be the same but the things around it won't
