Side note, did you guys see the crash vid?  Amazing only a couple people died.  Silly wabbits, high alpha landings are for airshows and military jets.

Yeah, its a real grainy thing someone (maybe it was FabChild???) prob took from a cameraphone  from well outside the airport.  A friend showed it to me, so you'll have to search.  The thing damn near cartwheeled on the ground.

I have a friend from church who is a 777 pilot.  I asked him this morning about the crash.  He said they put what they know so far about it in the simulator, flight idle down to 400 feet then max throttle.  He said the plane leveled off in ground effect at 10 feet!  The sea wall is what did them in, on a normal approach end, they may of scraped the tail, but landed it on the gear.
