What are the options for the 2 polyurethane bushings on the differential? What manufactures make bushings for these?

Tres on here made a delrin set for me with stainless bushings.  I haven't gotten a chance to install the 8.8 or bushings yet but they visually appear really nice.

I'd like to know more about the bushings as well. How is the NVM with Delrin bushings? Is anyone running Poly? If I'm understanding this correctly we need to buy FD bushings for the back two mounts of the diff (the ones that go in the sandwich plate), and 8.8 IRS bushings for the front 2 mounts?

Superpro RX7 Rear diff mounts (SPF2674k) are ~ $45

PowerFlex Street Rear diff mounts (PFR36-311x2) are ~ $78

PowerFlex Race Rear diff mounts (PFR36-311Bx2) are ~ $86

Where can we find the front bushings? I don't really see "07 Ford Explorer" as an option on a lot of poly bushing sites. Do you just go by diameter and find something close?

Those look nice. I went with superpro for the rear. I think I'm going to try the stock fronts unless anyone knows someone who makes poly ones. I started doing my axles last night. The big hammer trick worked really well (almost too easy). Does anyone know what the rubber spacer pieces are called? They go around the 3 bumps on Explorer ends so that the axle boot has a round surface to clamp to? Mine are kind of dry cracked and if new ones aren't too expensive I'd like to replace them.

I've started a groupbuy for differential bushings including polyurethane. Come have a look:

I just installed my new 8.8 kit. It looks great! I ran into an issue . When putting the rear subframe back in, it hit the charcoal canister. I didn't realize it at the time and now the canister is kinda smashed. Can I just remove it?  has Anyone else had this problem?
The canister has to be moved slightly you can reuse one of the original mounting holes the other I just drilled and put in a rivet nut all fits okay. Not sure how you would have smashed it putting the subframe back in it ??

Does it fit fine with the fuel filter or does that need to be modified? My fuel filter was zip tied to the brake lines from the previous owner and the factory bracket is missing. If it doesn't need to be modified in any way I think I'll try and find a factory bracket.

Did anyone else have a problem with the axle boots? These are stock 07 explorer axles. The spacer that goes around the axle cup to give the boot something round to clamp to doesn't seem to fit right. The top ring of the boot isn't deep enough to slide over the spacer enough. Should I just clamp it and call it good? Did I get the wrong boots?

Mine are the same way. Been running fine for over a year now. I was concerned too when I assembled mine.

Hello all,
So I am assembling my axles today and had a concern.  The ford inner joint that is retained by a circlip needed the assistance of a 3 jaw puller for removal (this is normal).  My concern is when putting the inner joint on the Ronin axle bars, it literally slid on the splined shaft.  No resistance whatsoever.  There is also a slight amount of radial play, which I assume is definitely going to lead to slop over time.  I checked it on the other Ronin axle bar with same results.  I also have .040 of play in and out with the factory Ford circlip installed, the chamfer is on the opposite side of the circlip, per Ronin's instructions.  I'm curious as the the results that others had or for the Ronin team to chime in with their thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

I cannot comment on the play, but normally the inner CV just slides off the splines on the Explorer axle bar or takes a couple taps with a dead blow.

Good to know.  Mine was on there pretty good, I needed a 3 jaw puller and some persuasion tapping it (on the puller jaw) with a ball peen hammer to get mine to budge.  Needed the puller the entire way off the splines.

Yeah I needed the puller on mine too and didn't need any help sliding mine on the Ronnin bar. I also had to re-use the outside clip because the one that came in the axle boot box was too large.

Has anyone else placed an order for a custom driveshaft anywhere yet? I think a lot of people will be using ronnin (sambergs) front kit with a T56, and ronnins rear end with the explorer diff. Shouldn't everyone with this combo have the same driveshaft?
