LS3 FD build
« on: February 20, 2013, 02:30:18 PM »
Started with a 1994 with only 46k miles on it. Perfect running car.......or as perfect as they can be with the rotary. Got it home and tore it apart. Just a quick list.

Samberg mounting
Samberg bump steer
Samberg cooling
Samberg rear end mount
Hinson 17/8th headers
Dual 3in to single 3.5 exhaust

Ls3 from 2010 camaro 40k miles
TSP 229/236 cam
Tick Performance level 2 t56
Monster stage 2 clutch
DSS driveshaft

Pez harness
Pez a/c (not installed yet )

Built the car to go play at TX2K13 and will probably put it up for sale after that.

I like how your engine harness leads strait into the fire wall makes the bay clean looking. also nice valve cover paint job.

Not many FDs in Louisiana, and even fewer that are swapped.  Where are you located? Nice to see another one, especially as clean as yours.

I'm in New Orleans. West Bank in Belle Chasse to be exact.

Yea, I figured you would be on the opposite side of the state.  I'm in Lake Charles, but do make it over there for an event or two throughout the year.

yep stock rear. I know its on borrowed time so I think a solid axle is in the future if I keep it.

Axles won't be the problem the carrier grenades and will most likely destroy your pinion and ring gear too. I would throw a s4 diff in at the very least.
