F*ck it, f*ck it, f*ck it......i quit

yanking this damn 22r hybrid out and dropping in a carb'd 302 w/ t-5. keep having stupid wiring issues and im sick of chasing birds nests. gonna rewire the whole damn truck throughout the next month and get this motor mounted up...in search of a trans right now

gonna slap a cam and lifter set in, chain set, manifold, 600cfm edelbrock, headers into some custom dual 2 1/4...maybe find a decent drop in distributor...nothing crazy...


the truck rips with the little 4 banger in it, but i keep finding myself wanting more. going to have to find some 4.09 gears....the 4.64 set in it will be awy too low i'm thinking. throwing the 22r hybrid into my 83 celica i have out back it seems like a win win situation.

scored a bone stock 302 2bbl from a 76 f150 from my buddy kevin today. gotta love good friends. truck had 60XXX original miles, motor ran when pulled. it is nothing special, but its a great start. gonna freshen it up, reseal it, buy up some bolt on goodies and slap her in hopefully late April. got a few lines out for a trans, craigslist is my best friend right now.

my dad scored me a Moroso Mustang oil pan and an edelbrock rpm air gap manifold from a thrift sale. brand new in the box's! 300 bucks
not sure if i will actually run that manifold, bit just getting the parts together it getting me excited.

I have been finding myself debating a lot on changing the gear set in the rear diff. the truck has 4:62 gears, and i'm afraid it is going to drastically limit my top speed and rpm band of a smallblock and 5 speed...

everything ordered so far will be here Friday/Saturday

And then...brakes. I had found a good site for braided stainless front brakeslines....but I cant find it again for the life of me. but anywho....all brake parts will be ordered Saturday

making more and more progress on getting this little truck all cleaned up and back up to reliable running and driving condition.




Oh...Yeah...and the v8 build is coming along smoothly

I thank you sir. I have been getting a lot of flack about it on the repu forum....but thats to be expected.

I really think it's going to end up being One of my best builds yet. I had no intention on swapping something into this little thing when i bought it....but now i have completely put both my FB's on the back burner and throwing all my time at getting this truck solid

For once ebay actually panned out. Addco front swaybar and poly bushing kit ordered.....damn this paycheck is going by fast!

I could make coilovers for that thing pretty easy. 4 valve springs 8 washers and a couple trunk struts lol.

I wouldn't mind seeing this thing with the s2000 drivetrain.

i originally wanted to do another jap 4 banger swap...but i could honestly never bring myself to use a honda power plant. I would REALLY love to see this thing with a 12v vr6, stroked & snailed...but i just don't have the time, money, or motivation right now. the SBF swap is just to easy lol
