Mint FD LS2/T56 (((((Price reduced)))))
« on: February 08, 2013, 11:43:25 AM »
So I really have way too many projects going right now and as much as I love my FD I think im at the point in my life where I need to narrow my priorities a bit.  Sooooooo I have decided to entertain the idea of finding it a new home! This car is an absolute DREAM build with no corners cut and no issues at ALL.  The body is a 9.5/10 and the interior is a solid 8.5-9 out of 10 with absolutely NOTHING needed.  all original montego blue paint in near perfect condition!!!  I have looked far and wide to find a better example of an FD and have failed to find one in anywhere near as good condition as mine.  If you are looking to have the nicest FD around with the LS2 conversion finished and done.  Here it is.  I know I will never find another one like this and probably will never own one again because I am spoiled by it.  garaged kept its entire life and I have owned it since 2000.

LS2 GM 6.0L V8
Tremec T56 6-speed transmission
Samberg Conversion kit
Samberg Radiator/Fan/Intake system
K&N Carbon fiber intake filter
Pez Custom Wiring harness
Pez power steering lines
Pez A/C lines
JIC Magic FLT A2 Coilover suspension
JTR long tube Headers
Comp Cams custom camshaft
Comp cams Beehive valve springs/retainers
Comp cams pushrods
Denso TT Supra Fuel pump(factory replacement)
99 spec front lip
Feed carbon fiber hood
Feed side skirts
Efini steering wheel
Autometer gauges
Greddy muffler
Dakota digital speedo/tach conversion equipment
Tick performance remote bleeder
Hinson custom driveshaft
Wilwood clutch master  cylinder
Rota Grid wheels/Nitto tires

I am asking $28k for this monster and I know it is worth it.  I haven't seen a single FD in the last 5 years in this condition and with the low mile 2006 GTO Ls2/T56combo swapped in making 450whp(cam only)  I cant stress enough how near mint this car is and anyone who sees the car will appreciate its pristine condition.

Oh...and it gets 33.5mpg on the highway!!! haha!!!!

No way, that car is one of the first cars I saw online that gave me a big enough boner to check out swapped FD's. Sad to see you have to sell it but hopefully she gets a good home.

no headaches.....everything works perfect...needs absolutely NOTHING. I promise you will never see one like this again....the attention to detail was relentless.  I made many alterations to the typical fashion these swaps are done in order to correct geometry and interference issues common with most swaps. Then take into consideration the fact that it is a low mile (under 20k) LS2 rather than the typical ls1.....and the fact that it has been tuned properly with a nice cam. AND working A/C!!!.....notice the shifter position too?... ;)  its not all goofy and mis-centered like all the other swaps....its smack dab centered with proper shift geometry for a factory feel....

Making room for new minivan and kiddos?

I went with the seller to pick up this car. I'd never seen someone detail an undercarriage before. This thing has been  flawless since day one, and worth the asking price.

Nice car, quick question.

Will the car pass emission testing?

Great question.  I live in CA.  I wouldn't want to purchase this nice car and then later find out I can't drive it at home.  I have no experience with this so any insight would be great.  I have the funds and this one looks excellent.

Don't weep for us. We have more sunny days when we can drive our cars.

Back on topic. Very nice car going for a fair price.

Bring the car to me. I can get it to pass CA emissions.
FC/FD plug and play wiring harnesses, LSx swap AC systems, LSx swap power steering lines.
