That's awesome!  Super happy for you!

The car died today once.  The idle dips really low when braking at times.  I'm not sure why the idle likes to dip, could it be a tuning issue?  When the car died it reminded me that I have not put a check valve in the brake booster vacuum line yet  ::)

I was just going to say, sounds like you don't have a check valve in the booster.  They all leak, they all need check valves!

Damn! That's one thing I don't have either! I'll have to get one ASAP :)

If your booster leaks, it will be a vacuum leak even with a check valve, it just won't be a boost leak.   Unless you install the check valve backwards.

My idle would dip low to when coming to a stop. I put in a check valve and that cleared it up, this was when i first got the car done and on the road. BUT every time i reset my battery circuit breaker the pcm has tp relearn the idle and that takes about 20 miles to sqaure out and then it sits and lobes perfect.  May be your case too unless you have already put some mileage on it

I think you are right FC3S Murray.  I set the alarm off in a parking lot so i just cut the battery.  After that was when the idle issues came.  After driving it around for a while, the problem has not come back.

Can someone link to the check value that they purchased and used in their build?

Took my car to Cunningham motorsports today.  Got a full tune and everything went smoothly.  Put down 410whp and 383wtq.  Not bad for a baby cam that's quiet, low emissions, rock solid idle at 850rpm, and should get decent gas mileage.  I ran out of injector, so an upgrade is next for the motor.  The tech said I have the quiestest swapped car he had ever heard.  They liked the cam and setup.

I'll need to get some better tires soon.  Hopefully I'll be able to stick with the 3.90 rear and some sticky street tires.  The car is going in storage after the weekend so there won't be any progress until then.

Nice! and I think my stock LS1 is enough.. yeah right. The car is probably scary to drive on the streets. Which UD pulley do you have?  :drive:

Great curve.  Why is the car going in storage again?  I mean sure, it's been unseasonably cold the last week or so, but cmon this is socal!

It's been a little while since I bought the pulley, but I'm pretty sure I got the SLP.  1st through 3rd just blows the tires off, definitely need better tires  :drive:
