WTB S4 TII diff or TII SWAPPED FD Diff.

Looking to buy a TII diff to swap the LSD into my FD,

or better yet someone who is going from that to an 8.8 I could take the entire diff off your hands :)
Not in a big hurry, located in South Central WI, can drive a ways since I have nothing better to do during the poor winter months.

CMAN, READ YOUR PM.

DUSTER,

Id like to swap the clutch LSD into my FD Torsen unit. Personally, I would rather have one from someone who already has it in their FD pumpkin and Ill just buy the entire pumpkin and swap that out, rather than taking my rear end out, buying a WHOLE S4 TII, and swapping every thing over. Would rather have this be a one day swap diff pumpkins and call it good.

well on that note i do have a s4 clutch type LSD from when i replaced mine with a carbonetic....

All you need is the LSD unit not the whole diff assembly. Shipping goes from a $100 pallet down to $25 box. ;)

Cant find any except that one guy that has the $500 diff axles etc..

Sides, if its only a state away I can drive. I love road trips...just did a 10hr round trip to haul back an 03 odyssey needs a trans, so I can flip that make some race car money!!

Found some KAAZ and Carbonetics LSD units for right about $1000-1100 so I might just snag one of those until I can do my 8.8 swap, like 5 years down the road haha.

Did you try the club? There's another forum with a lot of locals (in WI) called nopistons.com as well

I got about $200/ea for the couple of LSDs I sold.

Found nothing on the club but that site is hellish on my computer...I cant stand it.

Ill try out nopistons.

THe guy a few posts up says he has just the S4 LSD Clutch pack, thats all I should need.

When you wanna help me re-do the diff? lol.  Since its going to be sitting all year :( Ill take it out and bring it to ya for help :)

LOL, unfortunately that's one area I don't know what to do. I know how to tear it apart to sell it but I've never rebuilt one. When I have a diff issue I just swap out the whole diff.  :)

You will need a dial indicator and shims, shims that Mazda charges around 300 for all of them, been down that road easier to have a shop do it for a 100 bucks.

I have a clutch type s4 lsd in good shape from a diff that had a visit from the tooth fairy. Make me a fair offer and I'll hook you up. shoot me a pm.
