Aluminum oxide blasting material in the oil pan seems to have been the culprit -however during the rebuild I found a oil control plug that was shot -either way -I lost ALL the bearings and oil pressure after about 20 min of running it.

Buy a used piston with complete con rod from here or ls1tech.com and slap that sucker back together.

For the cost of the Stg 2.5 heads you can pay a little more and have NEW TFS 220cc as cast heads which are a lot better.

Looks like an M6x1.0 to me.    ;)

This.  And it looks like about the right length for a Valley Cover bolt to me.

Actually thats what I was gonna do until I found a hairline crack in sleeve and block. :(

Where at on the block was it cracked? Same area around#4 or  totally different spot?
