I never thought I would see the day people would try to sell twinkies for so much. CL and ebay are covered with people trying to sell twinkies for anywhere from 20 bucks to 100 for a box. Anyone stock up?

I don't know why people are being so dumb about this. They will be back on the market in a few months after they restructure, but maybe not as Hostess. Either that or some other compan will buy the operation.

This kinda sucks as there is a butternut bakery in my city. Quite a few people are jobless at this point.

What if it's a big marketing hoax to just sell a crap-ton of product?  I'm going to laugh if it is....

My retarded boss is one of those that believes Twinkies won't ever be produced again.  On Friday, he went to Walmart and purchased 23 boxes of Twinkies, 11 boxes of HoHos and 12 boxes of DingDongs.   ::)

Little Debbies now has "Cloud cakes" - twinkie knock offs, and they're not that bad.  I'm impressed with how shortly that took LD to make those!
