NJ.... AMAZING 1987 RX7 FC
« on: August 20, 2012, 02:29:16 AM »
I am looking for trades or best cash offer. Trading/Selling because I was involve in a car accident 3 months ago with my girlfriend in my 1994 rx7. Shes better now but she she hurt her back at the time and has refused to get into any of my sport coupes. I sold the wrecked RX7 and my Supra fairly quickly. Since she wont go near this car nor do i autox, drag or drift, there has been no use for it. She has way too much potential to sit around and I am now looking to trade for something more conventional like an RSX-s, American V8s, RX8, WRX, MS3, Civic SI, SC300 ect. This car is potentially a track beast with a 8 point roll cage, racing seats and harnesses but it is very much daily drivable with working power windows, full interior, moonroof ect. The previous owner removed power steering and ac to maximize torque to the rear wheels, although everything behind the dash for ac and power steering is still intact for those who rather replace it. The car is tuned and running great at 12 psi, making 340 rwhp but the T4 turbo kit I installed along with the supporting mods are able to support 800 rwhp for those who dare.

The car has a BRAND NEW (not a reman/rebuilt) SERIES 5 CRATE MOTOR that was assembled in Japan. New housing, new irons, new rotors, new seals, new internals, new new new. Literally had zero miles on it before it was installed in my car. It was left at a Mazda dealership till it closed. Motor was broken in for 5,000 miles before boosting, 1,000 miles after that for a total of 6,000 miles on the motor.

;)MOTOR
-Brand new Series 5, 4 port turbo crate motor $4,800 (stronger motor, thicker iron)
-T4 Borg Warner s363 extended fin turbo $1200 (new)
-Custom divided long runner stainless steal manifold $800 (new)
   -Tial Q bov $280 (new)
-Tail 44mm waste gate $360 (new)
-Koyo 53mm aluminum radiator $305 (new)
-Greddy front mount inter cooler $949 (new)
-Black Magic electric fan shroud $299 (pulls in lots of air. best on market)
   -Racing Beat full exhaust $1049
   -Microtech lt10 ecu $1,100 (new)

;)FUELING
-KGParts primary & secondary fuel rails (new)
   -Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator (new)
   -Summit A/N fittings (new)
   -Summit -6 fittings (new)
   -Stainless steel lines (new)
   -Bosch 1680cc secondary injectors (new)
   -850cc primary injectors (new)
-Stainless steel fuel lines (new) $1,200 for kit

-Supra tt fuel pump $120 (new)

;)DRIVE TRAIN
   -Act 6 puck clutch
   -lightened 9lbs flywheel
   -Jegs short shifter
-S4 clutch type lsd (strongest of all generations and rebuild-able)

;)INTERIOR
-OEM black S5 rubber center console
-OEM black dash, toggle, switches, bins, door panels ect
-New OEM carpet and headliner with thick foam padding
-New high quality heat and sound deadening material
   -Corbaeu A1 micro suede seats
-SFI approved 5 point seat belt harnesses by Corbaeu
   -Grant Steering wheel

;)STIFF STUFF
-Jegs 8 point roll cage (previous owner installed)
-Racing Beat front and rear sway bars
   -Tokico Blues with HP springs

;)EXTERIOR
-Highly sought after GP Sport body kit (genuine. not knock off)
-JDM S5 tail lights with removed reflectors and smoked for modern look
   -JDM side markers with LED
-JDM front day time running lights with LED (USDM models used a cheap design one piece head light projector)
   -17" Enkie black RFP1 wheels (tires @ 80%)

Body kit was covered with a skin coat of fiberglass reinforced putty and block sanded so the kit will look as smooth as the rest of the car. All dings were magnetically removed (not covered). Car was stripped down and covered with a 3 stage high quality urethane paint. All weather seals, badges and decals were replaced with new ones. New high quality heat and sound deadening material laid down before installing new OEM black carpet and headliner. Comes with stock saw blade wheels with Micky Thompson dot approved drag rubber. The car is tuned and sounds amazing!

heres some video of the car making 480 rwhp on 18 psi from previous owner. He parted the car to make some money when he lost his job and sold me the chassis with the new engine. I have documentation of this and everything else. My mechanic recommended a big t4 turbo and quality mods so I could make similar or more power than the previous owner, but I was scared of the idea of so much power at first so i asked him to tune it no more than 350. he game me 340 at 12 psi =)

if you search up "13bturbofc" you will find a bunch of videos and forums about the build... if your truly interested, you can contact me at (856) 332-5417 and my name is Johnny

Why are the first two pics of other cars? I believe the second one, JTP's old car.

Dude i am sorry but this is far from "amazing".
And yes that is JTP's old FC in the pics...that sucker has been floating around for years.
I hope you make a sale but i tell you around here, people are most likely gonna low ball OR sell that bastard of a engine that is installed currently.

Ugh...i dont know why i am so angry right now but this thread as rekindled my hatred for that engine design. No offense to the OP, i really do hope you sell it and i am glad to hear your girl is OK.  But i have a deep distaste for wankels...thankfully mazda came to grips and closed the factory doors on that one.

Looks like a different car for sure. Wow, that's scandalous.

Not sure who jtp is but if it's infact his picture and not the previous owner than I apologize. With the restoration to the body of this particular vehicle, I would assume its in similar if not better in person than jtp's. Again, I'm just using pictures that were sent to me and if this isn't his car than my apologies. Please just refer to the first 2 photos as a reference to what a clean black FC3s with the same body kit would look like.

Thank you for your concerns but I'm gunna stick with my opinion to the quality of this vehicle. The condition of the car is very amazing compared to any FC I've seen regardless of your weird deep hatred for an inanimate object. I like the blue on your car though

Thanks man for the color compliment.  Sorry about my rant in your thread...i had a strong buzz going on that night. As for my hatred for wankels...it has to do more with all the lost time/money/energy/research i put into my previous rotaries.

Anyway good luck with the sale. You will have way better luck selling it on the rx7club.com or local craiglist.
