Yeah I made all of it with out properly test fitting the bumper.  I have a stock bumper not a 99.  I Had to dent the pipe a bit near the intercooler to clear the indicator in the front bumper on the driver side.  It's not pretty but it'll function fine.
Played around with some stuff tried to tie up some loose ends in the engine bay.  You can kind of see my awesome clearancing of the IC pipe in this pic

Been trying to tie up some little loose ends in the engine bay.
Got my radiator hoses sorted out and got some fancy hose clamps:

Mounted my solenoid for my boost controller and ran lines for the wastegate and solenoid:

Mounted my Trans cooler and ran lines:

Engine bay is coming together, slowly chipping away at the long list of stuff to do.

Have two swapped fd projects. This one will be the more mild of the two. So I opted to save the solid axle for the more drag car oriented, bigger power setup.

Not sure. It could run soon. Just need to stop getting carried away tinkering with little crap.   I have been saying maybe a month this whole year. Realistically I could have it ready to fire tomorrow.   I have been trying to do all the little things that will bother me so I don't have to take it apart right away.  It'll probably take me a few more weeks. Then I'll have to get with my tuner and get in line

inb4 starts a new project.

It's possible. But I have been trying to stay focused until this one runs again.

Thanks.  You will like that vertical flow ic, I used the same one.  If you want even more response go to an air to water setup.

I was really close to pulling the trigger on a air to water intercooler. I really wanted to try out this vertical core and after going back and forth I ended up with a vertical core air to air. Hope it works well. With your setup did it hold you back or did it work pretty well?

F**K push lock lines, (not the push to connect lines on my wastegate) the trans lines kept kinking when I tried to route to the cooler.  Any bends in the line to route them would make the line collapse at least partially.  I remade them using PTFE and they work now...  Had to get a few fittings but I had the line and a fitting left over from the fuel lines.
The lines have high temp sleeves on them until they exit the engine bay.

Ok, made some progress.  Fixed a few brake lines I had made a few years ago that had questionable flares, replaced my tee fitting with the proper one and bled the brakes.
Installed the rest of the coilovers and put wheels on the car.  It's been a long time now but this thing is ready to be back on the ground rolling around. possibly be able to move under its own power soon as well.
Welded a -10 bung on my drivers side valve cover, got some fitting and a breather can, mounted the catch can near the drivers side headlight:

Installed coils, plugs, wires, and wire heat protector boots.
Did some wiring for the fuel pump but still have a bit more to do there.  Made the new power wire needed to power the mazda chassis and threw in a battery to start testing a few things, have power at the ignition circuit like it should so thats a bonus.  Wired in a few things for the powertrain harness.  Need to add wiring for the reverse lights and the tcc brake circuit.  Also need to verify the rest of the chassis and front harness wiring to make sure its all getting power as it should.

Here are a few shots of the engine bay from earlier today:
