The pcm uses the temp sensor on the driver side head, but your gauge uses your factory mazda sender. You can find it anywhere by looking up the make/model. I think it's the same as the fC too.

Hey man I'm not too far from the Atlanta area. I'm an engineering student with a co-op job in Cleveland, GA (living in Helen). I currently have an 08 Mustang Gt with a few mods but i plan on doing an FD LS3 swap in about a year or so. Id probably like to check out the car sometime or maybe go for a cruise around the mountains to see how bad the RX7 outhandles my under powered tank haha.

Saw this car at import alliance today, looked great in person. There were actually 3 ls swapped FDs. It looks like the interior is a darker brown than the factory tan, did you dye or paint it? Really like the color combo of gray and brown interior.

I've finally found the time to be able to work on the car some.  During my most recent track event, I experienced an issue where the return hose on the Heidt adjustable pressure valve blew off spewing fluid onto my header turning my car into a smoke machine on the track.  Luckily there was no damage done to the car.  With this happening, I decided to remove this shit ass part and fix the P/S to the proper way.  I ordered a new pressure hose from PEZ and flow restrictor from Turn One.

I went to replace everything Friday night and realized the restrictor I received isn't the correct one so I'll have to get in touch with Jeff tomorrow about getting this.  The pressure hose required me to remove the alternator in order to install it.  Luckily the alternator is a breeze to remove.  Although I don't have one at the moment, I'll be looking to install a cooler to the P/S system before my next track event.

I received the correct flow restrictor yesterday and installed it tonight.  Man are is the steering feel night/day different (in a positive way) compared to using the Heidt pressure adjuster.  I can't wait to do another mountain run to see how the car really drives... Just gotta get the weather to quit forecasting rain for a change.  I feel like I'm living in Seattle right now.
