How to remove the RX-7 and Mazda Logo

Has anyone removed the RX-7 and Mazda Logo from their car?  What is the best way of doing it without scratching or damaging the bumper?

Yes - Thank You.  I've heard a few people say that.  Any other method you'd like recommend.

+1 on dental floss.  FYI thought, you will definitely see the outline once you remove it.

Yeah, that's the only thing, the paint underneath is basically new, so you'll see an outline of it. Just get the floss under a corner, and then saw back and forth. Then it's just a matter of cleaning off the residue from the adhesive. If they don't have a rigid backing then be careful not to bend it (I'm not sure if the "RX-7" is easily bent, as it was already shaved on my FD).

WD-40 is a good adhesive remover as well. Use a cotton cloth not paper towels.

I use Goo Gone to remove adhesive.

One thing I would say is to be careful after you pull the letters off.  Wash the area before you start trying to work the adhesive off because the letters usually have a small dirt ring around them and you don't want to rub that on the paint and scratch it.

Carb cleaner will work also.  Duh, just remembered, only those of us with carbs would  have that laying around in the shop.

Mine had alignment hole behind the Mazda badge. I filled them before painting the car.

though a bit more expensive, I like the 3m stripe off wheels that attach to any handheld drill. It's like a big eraser that you spin. they're like 40 bucks.

Thank You for the reply.  Dental Floss really worked well for me.  I was surprised.  It pealed off so easily and on the first try.  It left a bit of a residue and I easily waxed that off.
