Looking for a TII rear assembly
« on: May 17, 2012, 02:43:58 AM »
Let me know if you got one. It'd be nice if someone could ship, or lives in Utah. Or if you have any suggestions on how to make the NA rear end hold up better, that would be much appreciated :drive:

I have a TII diff that I would let go. $225 + Shipping (The LSD is worth $200)

It's my spare diff. It has a noisy pinion bearing and I was going to rebuild it but just haven't had time or know how. (This was going to be my teaching tool) The LSD is in great shape. It's smooth and has great clamping. The diff makes noises on decel. It might only need the lash reset but I haven't pulled it apart to find out.

It would need the bushings put in. (I have the MMR Delrin that I use) I don't have axles for it but it does come with stub shafts. It currently has Mobile 1 Synthetic with LS oil.

I don't mind shipping it. Shipping cost will probably run ~ $75-$100. (I still have the pallet from Ebush when I bought his and had it shipped)

I live in Utah and will have one for sale soon.  But I want to test my Ford 8.8" before letting it go.

Alright let me know how you like the 8.8!! I've considered it, but Granny's is far to expensive, and if I did it myself there would be a lot of Fabrication involved :(

And for bikedad, I'm sure you'll know this. Will the NA rear axles fit into the TII diff?

I will let you know.  I am doing the Ronin 8.8" IRS, not the Granny's solid axle.

Where in Utah are you located and what do you have in your FC?

No they won't.
You will need to acquire TII axles.
