I think I got the brakes situated.   Picked up some plates and titled it today so I can get it up to speed instead of just driving around town.  8)

Some some assembled pictures.

Catch can and overflow. I'm going to weld up a dual chamber setup out of sheet aluminum but I had these in the shed.

I had to extend the stock TOB housing. Local machiniest did a good job turning off my crappy weld. 8)

Kirk 4 pt installed. Not the best fit but I made it work.  All the interior was put back in after modifying the pieces.

Intake pipe suck air from the passanger side brake duct.   RFemote oil pressure sensor there as well.

The last major piece of fabrication. The final trans crossmember.

My annual "put the engine in shot" of my son. He runs the ram.   I've got pictures of him every year since he was about 5.

I got a speedo cable from digitalsolo (Thanks) and after taking parts from 3 stock instrument clusters I have all but the stock oil pressure gage working. I got a Autometer for OIL. Revs to 8k and pulls really well for only 15psi. It's got another 8 to 10psi left in it on the small 16g turbo.

I think my rear main or the oil pan in not sealed so the trans has to come out but considering everything was built from scratch I'll take a small leak.

I want to pick up another Turbo transmissions to rebuild so if anyone knows of any let me know.

Looks good.  I will likely have a ton of questions for you once I start getting parts in.

Essentially yes.  I am using a 4g64 wide block though with a b2600 bell housing, the engine will bolt directly to the trans without an adapter.  I just need to figure out an oil pan solution (I'm thinking if the pan itself is a symmetrical shape then I can just cut the mounting flange off and turn it 180* and weld it back together)and I need a manifold which I will likely just make my own sheet metal manifold.  Also did you do anything with your steering rack or subframe?  If not, how's the clearance?  Also are you running power steering, and if so I would like some info on that.

Your car is a really cool build, and I can't wait to start getting parts in for mine so I can start putting everything together (so far I have only gotten as far as starting to strip things and clean them up).  I figure mine should take about a year or so before I can start getting things put together in the car (let alone paint and everything else I would like to do)  :'(.  I will probably start a build thread though once I get more of the stuff together.

The pan is not symetric.   I built the pan from scratch (picts in album).   3/8" pan pan and 16gauge deep sump sheet metal.   Holds about 6.5 quarts.   You'll have to make a extended pickup as well.

Car has manual rack.

I think it was $650 shipped.  I thinkk it was $150 for shipping.  I actually got it as a 20th wedding present from my parents...surprise...the wife was thrilled.  8)

This is their 4 pt competition bar, not the cage on Powerblock.

To be honest i wasn't happy with the fitment.    This is not a "BOLT IN" I had to use a scissors jack to push the passenger down bar over to the wheel well.   The backup plate in the wheel wells had to be bent in two directions and have the bolt holes elongated. That said, the material, paint and welds where pretty nice.   It was extremely well wrapped.  Their communication on the phone to my dad when he was buying it as well as the reasoning for the fitment problem (they try to fixture the bar to allow for weld movement) was good.

Pulled the trans out and the rear main was leaking like a sieve...the one gasket I didn't replace.    It did give me a chance to look at the clutch, the pilot bearing and the fabricated TOB housing.    Everything looks good so the aligment of the adapter plate and shortened bell housing must be good!

Got her back together and the oil leak is fixed.   Unfortunately somehow I overfilled the trans when it was up on jackstands and it came out the rear trans seal after sitting on the ground 2 hours later.  Dumbass moment...

Anyway...looking to pick up a set of ET Streets, what size are you guys running on your FC's?

Well first track outing was a moderate success.

Best run was a 12.55 @ 117. Tune was great, no knock, boost at around 22 or so. Launching is definitly a problem...COOL, if you got any advice let me know!

Transmissions seem to be my issue still. Engine loved reving and building boost to 7500, however the transmission doesn't. Third and forth syncros gave up alot of their life. Last run shifting at 6500 and spinning off the line netted at 116 trap.

Now I got a month to get trans parts for CSS Challange Day (local drag race)....if anyone has any connections for transmissions let me know.

Got my KYB AGX's and coil over from BoostedLS87 today and installed them tonight.   Got a great deal and allows me some tuning options now.   Made a couple of test launches and seems to have help with some of the wheel hop.  More to learn vs my old point and shoot AWD Talon.
