Honestly I have not heard of it being an issue on standard PVC insulated wire. I am having a very hard time finding anything on google one way or another.
Everything I can find about PVC in general is that it has "good" chemical resistance to gasoline. PTFE is Polytetrafluoroethylene which is PVC with Teflon mixed in as best I can tell. PTFE has an "excellent" rating. There is PTFE coated wire. It is like $4 a foot I think for small gauge wire

(not that it wouldn't be worth it).
Edit - The science experiment has begun. I tossed a couple pieces of wire and a piece of efi hose in some 91 octane. We'll also get to see if Gladware is gasoline safe
