Ft: 2002 Chevy 2500hd 4x4 turbo diesel
« on: April 17, 2012, 08:38:02 PM »
Looking to trade a 4x4 2002 Chevy duramax 2500 hd with the 6.6l turbo diesel. All maintence done. Its at 190k with 4k in maintence just done including new injectors etc etc. Its fully loaded with no problems at all. Nice crew cab. Just really looking for a lsx FD for trade. All leather, power everything, this thing is ready to ride. Willing to meet or whatever. Just looking for a nice equal trade. I know what the truck is worth so please be reasonable. Thanks guys. 706 619 8512

Free bump, I like the truck but couldn't come anywhere near a straight trade, how about the truck and $10k on your end? Lol good luck with the search...

What are you valuing the car at? KBB just came back with a private party value of 12k and that was being genourous. It also said the truck should only have 120,000 miles at this point.

I don't see you finding a trade for an LSX FD unless you put a LOT of money on top of the truck like the poster above said.

I dont know how your valueing the truck books over 15k. You must not be selecting the right options. You mustve selected a gas engine or something. Its a 2002 chevy 2500 hd crew cab 4x4 LT edition turbo diesal. I didnt know anyone used kbb anymore i thought it was all nadaguides anymore kbb is a rip off. but even kbb has the truck set at over 14k. Its in excellent condition. i see all sorts of lsx fd's going from 14k -17k all day. Im not looking for a show car fd just a a descent one to get me started. Thats all.

yea, if you click the duramax option it adds $3800 to the suggested retail on KBB....clean retail is ~17k

The 2006 and 2007s are still going for 20-25k now

They may be worth more in other places, all I know is my bud just sold his 02' with 30k less miles than yours for $9500 after a long struggle...kbb/Nada and reality are two different things...once again though you might get lucky, best of luck

It may have had a few quirks,  nothing close to what's gonna be wrong with whatever swapped fd you straight trade for that truck...
