glad its not breaking :)

On your ls3 wiring kit did you use the gm coolant sensor on the side of the block and the rx7 coolant sensor? Or could you explain how you did your factory coolant gauge sensor to the gm sensor (drivers side front)

thanks

I plugged the gm harness into the gm coolant sensor for the ecu on the front drivers head. I undid the plug on the back of the passenger head and used a adapter fitting to screw the stock mazda sensor in. the wiring for both are completely seperate.

I can post pics if that helps, where are you mounting the fuse box and ecu? not too much space for both....

This is my best time so far, still working things out. I also ran a 11.4 @132 earlier in the year

I think you have a solid 10 second car in there, stop breaking stuff, get the power out of the motor the mods say you should and boom, 10 second car

It's been a while since I have updated, been busy driving the car. I have been doing some drag racing still along with some track days and auto crosses. I did one drag/drift/autox competition woth some friends, drove the car a 400 mile round trip and competed and didn't worry one bit.

As for drag racing I just can't seem to get it to launch well, the et streets seem to do better on the street then at the half ass prepped track or at least that's my excuse plus I don't have a 6 pt. so I get the boot if I'm not on the brakes.

Some pics of the events.

I purchased half specs ac lines and working kit. The product was perfect and more importantly he was super helpful when I plugged into the wrong connector at the hvac and couldn't get it working, awesome guy. Installing the ac pump and lines was a little more work then I expected, it took a couple evenings and was a tight fit.

Shineauto had a group but going and about six of us bought stuff and had it shipped to one place. Shipping ended up being 35.00 for my part for a re diffuser, feed skirts and low pro lip combined with the 10 percent off I feel it was a great deal.

I will say the low pro lip looks like shit and I guess is "normal" from sending ken the pics but oh well it still looks good and only I really notice.  Also the figment of the diffuser was poor but I knew that buying it, I guess the authentic one is worse. I found that a rubber seal around it help hide it and you can't even notice it now.

I had some aluminum skid plates that were very old, scraped up, and my plastic sill plastics had broken clips. So I carbon wrapped them and I think it turned out pretty good.

Future plans are to get a 6 pt. roll bar so I can drag and not get booted.  I also need to check out what I cam do about the ctsv pedal I'm using woth the samberg mount....it's about 2 inches higher than the brake pedal when braking and it's making rev matching hard. I also plan to get a quieter exhuast setup.

Haha! I think you're with the majority here when it comes to your thoughts on installation difficulty. I'd guess that 60-70% of my customers wait until the the next Spring AFTER they purchase their kit to install. This spring/summer I was mostly answering customer questions from last years GB. I expect the trend will continue. It's a curious puzzle as it's no easy install and I'm sure it's a hot install when doing in in the middle of the summer months but I would think roasting in a sports car all summer would be worse

Car is looking great!

Well over winter I decided it was time to upgrade from the stock Camaro clutch to a monster twin disc, install a 6 point rollbar and repair a small leak in my samberg radiator. Otherwise I have just been driving the car to track days, autox and some late night drag races.

Nice looking cage!

Again, very nice FD. Any future changes you want to make since you have been tracking it? It always seems after an extended period of time guys really find their cars weak points on the track and desire to change some things up.
