Well I took the car to get tuned yesterday, kinda disappointed with the results. The tuner said it would pick a little more on a less humid/hot day but I will just see how it performs at the track.

Here is the dyno sheet:

Thanks, although I am not doing anything near the depth you're going to with yours. I still have little things to do to get it just right but I dont think that will ever end....shhhh dont tell my wife hehe.

Here is a few more pics of what it looks like all put back together, nothing crazy compared to all you guys on here. It needs lowered bad as its on stock suspension but I am curious how it will perform like this at the drag strip vs. coilovers.

Your numbers are not too bad. What size cam you running?
So on a cool day with less humidity you are probably closer to 465 rwhp and 440ish rwtrq huh?
Beautiful FD, I drool over red and a 99 spec body combination....plus a LS3 on top of that just makes my pants tight!  :yay:

What upper radiator hose did you use for the ls3 since the inlet is on the opposite sde of the TB compared to a ls1. Didn't look like there is much room for the hose to pass under the intake.

Well after getting the wrong cam and waiting on comp to not hurry to send me another, I finally got it installed. I have never installed a cam before but this was too easy of a job.

i've never swapped cams yet, sorry for my ignorance...
can you just shove wooden dowels of appropriate diameter into those holes to keep the lifters from falling?

On LS engines you just loosen the rockers and remove the pushrods, then turn the cam shaft a few times. This pushes the lifter up into the trays and they usually stay there while you pull and replace the cam. Lots of people like the added comfort of sticking the wooden dowels in.

My friend had a lifter fall on him once. he always uses rods now
