Soon as she said it was your fault I would have called the police. Not like your going to hit a lady right, what else can you do. I would have called the authority's and the system would have taken care of all of this for you. They would have got her info and served her and had her pay restitution.

Boot  her dog, say it was self defence and you saw how it attacked you plane. Serious, I have anger issues and  thats the first thing i would have done. now that weve lrearned that you have more self control then I. Take her to small claims court I'm guessing is your best course of action.

LOL, it's not the dog's fault, he was doing what dogs do.  It was the stupid human's fault.  I will say MY dog is smart enough not to chase and fetch anything I don't tell her to.  Having said that, I now think my best course of action would have been to let Roxy loose and point her at this little shit eating dog.  She will straight up attack other dogs without thinking twice if I tell her to.

You should have treated it like a car accident. Get her info then call the cops. If she was still a bitch I would have said "omg, there is a dog off a leash in the park and it looks to have rabies. It is destroying property and about to attack a child!" then the cops would be there quick as shit. You wouldn't be lying because regardless of the state the owner IS responsible for their dog. When a boxer tried to attack my daughter (she was 3 at the time) the cops came and told the owner to get it under control. I wasn't there at the time so next time that dog came in my yard I put a .40 into its chest then another in its head as the owner ran down the street to stop me. The police told me the allows me to do such since it was threatening my family. Then again it was my property. I did have to pay for disposal which could have been me digging a hole in my yard but I took it to the vet and paid $50

You'll never get money from her, but you can probably make her spend the money on something she doesn't want to.  If your city/area has leash laws, they can ticket her for the infractions.  Wait until she has the dog unleashed again and call the police.  They can cite her, and you may get some satisfaction out of it without her losing the dog.  Either way that sucks...

My cousin's husband is really into RC Planes. We found out that flying the planes in parks around ATL is illegal, as they are motorized vehicles. Are you sure there are no regulations against RC toys in public parks?

If there is no video evidence of it,  I would think you're probably SOL by now. I'd definitely be pissed as I do think she owes some compensatory damages, but I think that the opportunity window for getting anything out of her has probably passed.
