I’m starting a new job with Amazon AWS as a senior TAM (Technical Account Manager) in a few weeks.   Seems like a good gig, but time will tell I suppose.

I’m a Practice Architect with TEKsystems right now (basically a technical consultant).

These are fancy names for “I’m still an IT guy”

When I joined v8rx7 lol - I was still in the U.S. Army.

Since then I got a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering - but I work as a software developer now.

I was doing engine calibration for Corvette/Camaro/Cadillac CTS-V, but have now switched to doing calibration and track support for the new LMDh series for Cadillac.

skuter83 - so freaking cool!
Exidous - your job sounds a lot like mine

Speaking of which, I joined Nike at the beginning of the year as VP, Global Org Effectiveness & Enterprise Transformation. Nike is about 20 years behind from a modernization perspective. It's insane. Every business and corporate function is in the middle of a significant digital and (frequently) business transformation. I've been there two months and I have had to double the size of my team (and counting).

I'm a cyber security guy.  Specifically a pentester.  AKA hacker!  hahah.

Super huge computer nerd, on the insanely insanely technical side.  No stranger to spending my time in Ghidra or IDA Pro disassembling code to break it, or attacking various web applications.  Once on the network...  no issues running around covertly and taking some data.  hahah.

I love it.  The time requirements are high though.  Studying every night to stay as recent on many many aspects of tech.  Server systems, network systems, software systems, etc.

IT generally don't like me.  :(  I break all their stuff and write a report about a bunch of stuff for them to fix.  And, many are already overloaded.

It's only cost me money so far, but I'm learning to be an arborist.
