Always thought a camless motor would be neat if you were able to make it reliable. meaning each valve has its out actulator that pushes it open and shuts it. and its controlled by the tune. Then on the fly you could have a .400 lift cam or a .600 lift cam in a matter of seconds, program the rate it stays open etc.. multiple tunes in one controller depending how your driving it will change in a matter of a milisecond. think about it a nice fuel efficient cam style for cruise control and highway trips, but a full on nasty cam profile for when at the strip or you just feel like getting on it, and it can change almost instantly by the high tech computer to control it all..
timing, fuel, air, spark, and cam profile all on the fly.. thats sweet.. least I think.
