I was sent to this site from SON240sx as I'm a member there and had this posted for sale. People said someone here may be more interested in a LS1 swap so here I am.
I'm also a member of a bunch of other sites (ontario Z car Club, Hybrid Z, etc etc so I can provide references and such if needed since I am new here).

Anyway here she is my 1976 Datsun 280z with a completed LS1/T56 swap.

Price is listed before the pics for those who don't want to read through it all to see the price. Car is located in Kitchener Ontario Canada (N2R1Y9 postal code). I can help with you picking the car up or delivering it if need be.

Specs:
Florida Car bought in 2006 fully restored. Possibly one of the cleanest Z's in Ontario.
Car had a rebuilt I6 and 5spd in it when we bought it and a super clean interior.

Mods:
Drivetrain:
2000 LS1 5.7L V8 and T56 - pullout - had 40k MILES on it when I got it, we've put under 6k MILES on it since the swap
Engine Mods: 224/224 cam - FAST 90mm Intake - FAST 90mm TB - Hugger headers 1 7/8" primaries 3" collectors - Hardened pushrods - double valve springs - Texas Speed Performance 5.3L heads milled to 59CC with larger valves (CR is 11.1:1 approx) - LS2 -Billet fuel rails -timing chain (pre heads put down 378rwhp and a whack of torque, ran 11.77 @119 on 235/60/15 MT ET DR Street legal tires)

Fuel system- Aeromotive A1000 pump + 100micron filter +fuel pressure regulator - ALL NEW BRAIDED lines (supply, feed, return) - Billet fuel rails
Exhuast - custom fabricated exhuast by Dean of Full Throttle Welding - TOP NOTCH! 2.5" off headers to a custom Y pipe to single 3" out the back - no res, no cat - bullet style magnaflow muffler with a Flowmaster polished tip on it. After I had a 3" Electric cutout installed after the Y pipe. This is a LOUD SUMABITCH open. Its NOT quiet when closed either. I have NEVER had an issue with Police with it however.

Transmission - WS6 store short stick and hurst 6spd black ball shift knob (new) - McLeod Clutch and flywheel installed when engine went in so 6k miles on it, new throw out bearing too.

Suspension
Coilovers - Tokico 5 way adjustable struts all 4 corners - Front 1" sway bar - rear strut tower bar - CLSD with 3.90:1 gears with upgraded clutches and finned diff cover (synth fluids) - custom front lower control arms adjustable - custom adjustable TC rods - new tie rod ends installed this spring too - Fresh alignment from Ivan have paper somewhere if you want it- Billet Aluminum Diff brace and dog legs from Arizona Z Car- Has 300zx TT CV axle upgrade

Interior
Recaro seats custom wrapped in two tone leather - custom FG door panels wrapped to match - Autometer Gauge set (tach/speedo/volt/oil pressure/fuel/coolant temp) - Focal 6.5" components with upgraded TN52 tweets - Elemental Designs 5 channel amplifier - 3 Elemental Designs 12" subs - sound deadened 80% of interior of car - newer carpets and mats - clean headliner - aftermarket steering wheel - SPAL power windows

Exterior
Paint is probably 8 yrs old if I was to guess I'll HONESTLY put it at a 8.5-9/10 (JP etc can vouge that its good but not perfect as it was driven) - 3 pcs spoiler - lower air dam

Wheels
XXR 16x8 - has Hankook R compounds on them now all 225/50/16's they are IMO garbage tires as they are old, burn them off and put the 225/50 and 245/45's back on (included) Comes with Drag wheels/tires which are matching 15x8 XXR's with the 235/60/15 MT ET Street Drag Radials  (less than 20passes, NO burnouts = just cleaned tires and went - cut a 1.77 60' on an open diff) LOTS of tread left

Brakes - rear stock. woot. Fronts are 12.X" Wilwood 4 piston and 3 pce rotors. Cats meow of brakes that fit 16" wheels. Lock them up at any speed if you wanted to - includes upgraded brake master cylinder thats not installed - parking brake works and holds.

I *think* thats all of the modifications.

Downsides - Being Honest
-no washer fluid pump installed - have it but my clutch master cyl is in the way *upgraded Tilton unit i forgot to mention*
-no heater installed - have one from Jegs I was going to install, never did, included
-its a 35 yr old car - it squeaks, rattles and makes noises. Its not a toyota for interior sound levels I'll tell ya that right now
-Car needs a tune currently but that will be paid for by me before I'd sell the car anyway unless you want to do it yourself. We can negotiate a discount for me not having a tuner do it.

I will include ANY parts I have with for the car that I can find. I want this SOLD before I move out of my house otherwise it goes with me. Move Date is May 26th.

Car has won some awards at Ontario Z Fest (two best in class mod'd 280z) as well as 3rd at Scrape By the Lake but thats neither here nor there IMO as this is a machine more than a show car.

NO test Pilots - NONE -

Asking $24999 build it for less and I'll give you a cookie.
I will not give it away but I will consider offers as I am motivated to sell it before I move.

Pretty car, good luck with your sale.  Hard to get an old Z from Florida that isn't a total rust bucket... you may want to leave that part about where it came from out of your ad lol.

unless you own a turbo ls9 rx7 you do not know what the fuck you are talking about.
