heads. the LS1 has cathedral Intake ports and the LS2 has rectangle. At least that is what I researched, I could be wrong

LS2s have 243 heads, cathedral port.

unless you own a turbo ls9 rx7 you do not know what the fuck you are talking about.

To bolt it on the heads, you just need bolts.  ;)

Injectors have a different O-ring diameter on the intake side, Lingenfelter sells o-rings that fit non LS2 style injectors and seal properly into the intake.    You'll also need to take into account injector height and the throttle body (LS2s are all DBW, and the intake has no provision for mounting a cable TB bracket).

What Blake said, and the MAP sensor is on the other end of the intake, so you'll probably need to extend the wires.  Are you just doing this to get a 90mm throttle body, or what?  Other than that, I dont really think the 2 intakes are different enough to be worth it, assuming you already have an LS6 intake.

From what I've seen of side by side test results, there was no gain from an LS6 to an LS2, and the LS6 actually made slightly (very slightly) more power in a couple areas.   Just FYI.

Awsome info!! My reasoning which can be questioned is the port work. It's formatos 3+ port and matted with a 90-92 HAS to make power over a stock ls6/ported tb setup.......at least it sounds like it would.

I'm also running a nice cam/head combo

TEA stg2 799s(ls6 style heads)

235/243 .620 .623 112+2 lsl lobe

I'm no tuner and I can take any judgement on the setup.
