FS: '88 T2 roller - Price reduced!
« on: March 16, 2011, 04:18:26 PM »
I bought this T2 roller in 2009 with hopes of building a road course track car - my plans have changed.  It has been stored at a friends shop outside Atlanta.  I am in Ohio and I never had a chance to bring it home.  I do have a clean Ohio title.  Per the car fax info, it has spent it's life in FL and GA, so it is solid and rust free other than the leading edge of the sun roof and under the battery tray.  The PO blew up the engine and removed it along with the trany and drive shaft.   All the factory sheet metal is there as is the T2 rear end, suspension and brakes. It has a compete blue interior.  It has a cheap faded blue paint job, it was a factory silver car.  It is not perfect nor is it pristen - but it would make a perfect track car.

I paid $1250 for it, but now I just need sell it $1100 OBO .  You will have to come with a trailer to take it away.  It comes with factory 15" BBS rims.  I have a lot of pictures including ones of the underside, taken when the car was up on a rack.  If interested send me a PM with your E-mail address and I can forward them to you.

Pictures can be seen here;

Thank you.

Unfortunately I do not have a location where the pictures are hosted - sorry.  If you would like to see them, send me a E-mail link and I can send them to you.

Yes that is correct just outside of Atlanta, north east up I85 in a small town named Pendergrass.

Like I said on the club site;

"Come on guys between the rust free rear T2 end, the T2 hood, the core charges on the brakes calipers,  the clean title and VIN plate and even the not so perfect BBS rims you have $1000 plus you get the rest of the car/parts for free!  All you have to do is trailer her home."

What do you say?  Come get her!
