I like the LT1/T56 combo for my BMW if I ever stop hating it long enough to swap it.  ;)

I have my last year motor that is complete from pan to throttle body , including MSD optispark , electric water pump , GM HotCam kit , etc. sitting in my garage if you want it.

There is nothing wrong with it.



























Specification :


GM LT1 5.7 Litre. 355CI Bore 0.030".
JE SRP Forged Pistons (10.3:1 compression).
Manley Sportsman Forged Rods.
GM hotcam Kit (hotcam, LT4 springs, 1.6 Roller Rocker).
Aluminum heads.
MSD Ignition.
CSR Electric Water pump.

Dynoed @ 282 RWHP & 310 Ft-Lbs SAE. ( Aug 2010 )

The only thing about my LT1 which is annoying is it's affinity for pissing oil all over the place.  It's gonna get rebuilt next winter, so hopefully I can cure that.

I sure wasn't at SNS10, my entire engine was at the machine shop then. I think this car made it to SNS08 with a previous owner.

Oil is the only thing I got it stop leaking lol...for now. Be sure you seal the back of the intake manifold well.
