Boy, I didnt morn this bad when my Dad went last year! But I haven't lived with Dad the last 15 years so, its (i guess) a little less impact.

Sunday morning in an effort to cheer up the little lady I offered to make breakfast, BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!

We always got him Usingers Smoked sausage for treats! Always kept at least a few in the fridge for him. I couldnt feed him those crap treats from Walmart! Anyway, I was making eggs and potatos for breakfast on sunday, and went for the cheese drawer and what did I find,  ONE LAST SAUSAGE!

 :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Needless to say the rest of my day sucked ass. ;)

Very nice video.  Like you, I have no children, I feel like I am a father to my dogs more then just a pet/owner relationship.  I put my 14 year old male lab to sleep in November of 2010.  I still cried about it one day in February.  I still miss him.  I think having Norton cremated was a good idea, Hershel was cremated as well.  Its very hard to pick up the ashes, you get a call saying that your dog is ready to be picked up, and then the feelings will come at you again.  I still have not spread Hershels ashes and not sure when I will.  He sits on a table with his collar and tag on top.  I see him everyday, I will never forget him.  Norton will live forever in your memories.
