If you're looking for a FB to LS swap, this is a pretty sweet deal. Sell the drive train and misc. parts you won't need and you'll be left with a free, straight, solid FB shell.

Backstory:
A few months back, I came across an absolutely beautiful 85 GSL for sale on Craigslist for super cheap. My Son drove about 1.5hrs to the middle of the boonies in TN to pick it up. Turns out, the fella had 2 Rx-7's. The one my Son went after and an old daily driver 85 GS which he had parked 2yrs ago when he purchased the GSL. He hung onto the GS in case he needed parts. When my Son told me about the parked 85 GS, I called the owner and agreed to buy it.
My intentions were to clean it up, service it, put some miles on it and give it a good shake down before swapping it to a power train that shall not be mentioned here. That has simply not happened yet, so here it is for sale.
The car:
Mechanical - Parked 2yrs ago, started occasionally until battery died, then the motor was simply turned over by hand "monthly" from what I was told. I don't believe it's far from running, but I can't say how good it runs.
Exterior - Not pretty, but pretty solid. I haven't checked, but I'd expect the storage bin area to look pretty typical. The Rx-7 sat outside beside the fella's shop, for the past 2yrs, but it wasn't in the weeds. Certainly worthy of putting back on the road.
Interior - I vacuumed it and wiped it down, but it needs a good cleaning. I did find three LARGE snake skins in it, so that was kind of impressive, especially considering what the car was named (see back of car). If you just want a cool driver, you can clean the carpets and make them presentable. If you want nicer, you'll want to at least replace the carpet.
Misc - Looks pretty complete. I haven't been under it, but I believe the tail pipe and muffler is missing. Also the rear lower valance is missing. I have a set of stock GS wheels (w/ junky tires) that go with it.
Again, a pretty cool old school Rx-7 that deserves to be on the road.
Sold with a clean TN title and bill of sale. $1500 is what it's going to take to pick it up. Any less and I'm keeping it. I can deliver, but I'm not free.
