That is really cool. Add a controller and two of those boxes and you have an infinity box for far less.

Yep!   I basically have similar functionality, advanced programmability, and spent ~200 dollars on all the hardware in question.   At the end of the day, Infinitybox was my benchmark for this stuff, as the next step above that is PDUs, and I don't have the time to invest into building one of those, nor am I willing to spend 1500-2000 dollars on one.

Agreed. I may have to swap out my two bussman boxes for one or two of these. Need to figure out the control logic first. Lower on the list though.

Finish armor garage floor coating
Install water softener
Install 27kW tankless water heater(electrical done)
Paint garage walls need to decide on a color
Get car in garage
Unpack and organize garage
Add a pair of branch resonators to the exhaust(hoping I can fit these next to the drive shaft)
Add Cruise control
Add 2004 S2k ABS. Already have the module
DIYDipyourcar until I decide on a color
Maybe CAN distro.

Not too much to do this summer.

As always, I'll keep an eye out for your progress with the Mustang!

I'll have the code on GitHub shortly, I'll put a link up here when I do.   I was testing dual MVECs last night to be sure that programming/control logic worked properly without any weirdness (it did).   The code is pretty ugly/inefficient right now, though that doesn't matter for the most part since it still uses <40% of memory and <20% of space on an Arduino Nano, so it's tiny/fast (well, fast enough), it's just ugly/sloppy.  I'll clean it up soon, right now I'm just going to get everything rewired.

Also, installing water softeners is a pain in the butt, haha.

The hard part was/is finding where to run the drain. I'm plumbing it into the attic and using a P-trap+air gap and tapping into one of the 2" sewer vents. Only about 6ft of head needed but the house has about 55psi of pressure with the reduction valve which is more than enough. The pressure has already taken out a new hose of mine. May need to turn it down.

I'm sure there is a simple case with a custom shield that can be used with some bulkhead mount connectors to clean up the Arduino side of things.

This is pretty cool, just found the thread.   I'd maybe interested maybe in a kit that I could assemble as a father son project.   The boy want to get into Electronics in college.
