Need some help designing a hood cowl for my FC
« on: November 05, 2016, 03:33:05 AM »
With the way my car is setup I really need to build a hood cowl for my 302 swapped fc, I have a few ideas of what I want but was hoping someone on here could help iron out a few details and give some input. I attached a picture of my car and the cowl that I would like to base my setup off of. I was thinking a couple rows of louvers on top would help keep things cool and look good as well. Anyone have any other cool ideas?

There is a cowl hood available for the FC for a decent price.   Jpezzuti or something like that.

My Friend and I made this one, I'm not going to use it anymore. I am going LSX and can use my stock hood again.

If you want it, $100.

Don't louver the top of the cowl.  That's going to create turbulence directly above the carb inlet.
