I hard wir in the gps and the radar. use a relay for both. Garmin sells a hardwire kit if you aren't comfortable with splicing. their plug in has circuitry in it. Run the wires behind the dash. it looks super clean.

Wiring & Electrical Gurus:

I'm about to wire in a s2000 start button but wanted to clarify something. I'm following both the Revlimiter and RX7Club writeups for guidance.

However, in the revlimiter guide (http://www.revlimiter.net/mods/s2000_button.php), he cuts the Ignition wire in half and then wires one side of the wire to position 30 on the relay, and the other side to position 87a... What is the point of this and how does it work?

In the RX7Club guide, position 30 on the relay is simply tapped into the Ignition wire and 87a is not even used. Tapping also allows for the key start function to still be retained, which I like.

So I just wanted to clarify why revlimiter did it with both 30 and 87a.
