I have owned, built and cared for this car for the last 17 years.  It is a very capable daily driver as well as weekend/track day car.  I never thought that I would be entertaining the idea of selling it, but I have decided to move on to a new project.

86k miles on the chassis, Aprox 45k on engine and trans .  Black with Tan seats and carpet and black door/ trim panels.  I purchased this car in 1999 bone stock with 18k miles.  Car has always been garage kept.  No accidents or paint work other than the engine bay was re-sprayed before installing the LS1.  Paint is in good shape overall but is the original paint on a 22 year old car with some minor rock chips.  LS conversion done in 2004.  ECU mounted in passenger foot well behind kick panel.  Working AC and  power steering.  Truly a street/track day car. Tein Flex coilovers and Tein hood struts, racing beat sway bars, Hinson mounting kit and wiring harness with aluminum drive shaft.  Engine and trans are out of a 02 WS6 Trans-Am with the LS6 intake manifold.  Remote mount oil filter, factory Rx7 oil cooler is plumbed and functions.   4 point Kirk racing roll bar powder coated black with 6 point cam lock harnesses.  Koyo radiator (aftermarket Rx7 drop in mounted in stock location with stock fans).  SR motorsports ultimate drop in fuel pump (supported 442 rwhp with the single turbo rotary setup I had previous to the swap). PF Supercars cat back exhaust. Enkei Rp01 wheels, 18x8.5 and 18x9.5.  AIM Mychron 3 data acquisition with lap timing, track mapping, shift lights, engine rpm, vehicle speed, vitals and programmable warning lights.  This is mounted with a carbon fiber plate to the steering column and is easily removable if desired for street driving.  The driver seat is the only major cosmetic thing needing some attention.  It has some wear on the bolster and a tear in the center of the bottom cushion.  I haven't fixed the seat because I was going back and forth on having it repaired or doing aftermarket seats.  I installed Mazda oil pressure and water temp sensors so all factory gauges function and no additional gauges are mounted in car.  New Spec  stage 1 single disc clutch with about 200 miles and while the trans was out I had it gone through by Tick performance and they replaced the 2nd and 5th gear synchros.  Optima battery relocated to passenger side rear storage bin.  Isota steering wheel with modified clock spring so self-canceling turn signals and horn button still function properly.  I really made an effort to keep all the stock functions intact.   Bluetooth head unit with hand free calling.  Feel free to msg me on here or shoot me an email at Jon52781@gmail.com.  I am available most times for a call to discuss as well.   Car is located in Greensboro NC where it has been since I purchased it from Tennessee in 1999.

  The bad:
1.    Driver seat has tear in bottom cushion and wear on the outside bolster
2.   The Speedometer has recently decided to work only intermittently, I pulled the cluster and had it tested and everything checked out.  I think it may be a problem with the Dakota Digital box, however the AIM system displays speed as well
3.   The baffling in the muffler has begun to rattle in the mid rpm range so the new owner may want to install a different catback section
4.   The lid of the storage compartment in the drivers door has broken off
5.   The handle for the glove box has broken off.  You can still stick the handle in place and open the glove box but the attachment points have broken

Asking Price: 23k  $21k OBO
Not looking for trades unless it has wings and can perform aerobatics :)
