It's time to sell the project I've been working on for the past few years and get back to my RX-7 roots!  This truly is a one of a kind.

The car:
1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S
-KYB AGX short stroke shock setup
-T3 camber plates
-T3 roll center adjusters
-TRD 8k / 6k springs
-Cusco sway bars
-T3 panhard bar
-Prothane bushings
-MR2 manual steering rack
-Koyo radiator
-Bride seat (real) / Bride low rails
-Konig 14" wheels
-Brand new OEM redline tail lights
-New brake master cylinder
-Hawk brake pads

The car was purchased from a friend who purchased it stock in 2004.  I bought it from him in 2012 and got to work.  I purchased almost every component from a wrecked 2004 Honda S2000 that had 94,400 miles including:

2.2l Engine
6-speed Transmission
Every wiring harness in the car (Engine, dash, body, etc)
ECU
Gauge cluster
Gauge bezel
Fuel Pump / sending unit
Climate control (blower motor, A/C evaporator, heater core)
Steering column with wheel
Radio
Driveshaft
A/C condenser and lines

The intention was to utilize all the Honda components in the AE86 chassis and I think I've done it well.  All the stock 1985 wiring was removed from the car and replaced with 2004 Honda wiring.  The un-necessary circuits were de-pinned and removed (ABS, EPS, convertible top, etc).  The only bit of wiring from 1985 remaining is the circuit to raise and lower the headlights and the pigtails for the headlights / tail lights / wiper motor.  The S2000 fuse boxes are utilized and all the systems are plug and play.  I did leave the radio, climate control and keyless entry circuits in tact so those can be added down the road.  The Honda ignition key is used and the original security feature is in tact.  Of course the S2000 signature Start button is there too.  The gauge cluster works flawlessly, even the fuel gauge.  The S2000 fuel pump and sending unit were installed in the Corolla fuel tank.

I did not like the idea of using 1.75" subframe spacers that come with the JSP mount kit, so I made a new transmission tunnel and my own engine mounts and transmission cross member.  This left a ton of clearance for the oil pan, and I can still close the hood.

The car has been running and driving for the past 5 months or so.  It starts right up with no hesitation just alike a bone stock S2000.  It does not leak or smoke or use any fluids.  There is currently a check engine light on because the secondary air pump was bypassed.  The driveshaft does get some vibration but the local drive shaft shop cannot balance it because of the CV joint in the front.  Ideally a new unit should probably be ordered from Driveshaft shop, but I never got around to it.

I do have the stock GT-S dash for it.  Its just not installed in the pics.  The S2000 climate control also fits but is not installed currently either.

The car has always been in the south.  No rust underneath (the leaky 4AG did a pretty good job preserving it)  It does have a couple very minor spots of surface rust on the driver fender and rear hatch.  I'm not interested in painting the car and actually thought about just clearing it to preserve the patina.  If the new owner wanted to paint it these spots would clean right up.

I hit on the major points and all the little details I haven't mentioned are shown in the build threads.  If you are interested, please scroll through it and you will see the attention to detail that went into building this car.  I have the same build thread on several different forums but the easiest one to scroll through is here:

It is also here:

Any questions, feel free to ask.
