Mustang GT Test Drive

I got a chance to drive my son-in-laws new 2015 Mustang GT this weekend.  Too bad he was in the car with me so I had to be “nice” to it.  He is not a car guy at all, but likes the look of the Mustangs.  It is a decent daily driver for what he paid ~$34K.  It sucks that the fastest thing I have operating right now is the old minivan and he has a nice sporty car.  He does not quite understand why I am building the RX7 when I could just go buy a 435hp GT.  Hopefully he will get a chance to drive mine one of these days and he will be the one disappointed…..

I can tell you as someone that owned a 2011GT with a tune (380whp) that my current LS1 swapped RX7 is definitely faster and much more brutal.

Two really different worlds.  The GT is a very nice car and makes a great daily driver for sure.

Yeah I have been really tempted to sell all my cars and buy one and just have a car that is all around great

It is a fantastic car and the 2015s are even better by a long margin.

Definitely the best bang for the buck car right now depending on your taste of course.

If you need four doors, the SHO is pretty amazing also.  Had one of those also and a tune makes that car very fun to drive.
