I have been almost completely absent from the forum lately. My last semester of school was very rough but I managed to get through it. Consequently, I abandoned my work on the RX7, among other things.
On the flip side - I secured a job offer in Northern, VA and I moving to Falls Church this weekend.
Nevertheless, I am leaving the car here for now because storage is cheap. I plan on taking some work with me.
So, please tell what you know about Northern - VA and your experience building a car there.
Where do you store it?
How much do you pay?
What are my options?
Where do you service your daily driver?
Are there any speed shops that understand custom work?
Are there any machine shops?
Do they have water-jet capabilities?
Do they charge a ton of money to weld aluminum?
Anything that comes to mind which is car related might be helpful - as I am not very familiar with the area. Thank you!
PS: Mom wants me to get married now but I want more car parts!!!
