Handbrake cable bracket. Where did it bolt to?
« on: May 05, 2014, 05:02:41 PM »
You know when you start a project and you promise yourself you will take loads of pictures of everything. Well I didn't take a pic of where this bolted.

Due to its location I am guessing it bolted to the old diff or PPF?

If that's the case then where do people with Cobra /explorer diffs mount it?

It used to mount to the diff. I have mine bolted together but not hooked to anything. The ebrake cables when all hooked up though put pressure on it and it sits back over the diff where it won't contact the pinion or driveshaft or anything. YMMV doing it that way. I honestly don't think the brackets even required the ebrake cables pretty much sit where they should with or without it.

Ok thanks.

I will see where it settles. I may be able to bolt it to my modified subframe.
