I am trying to maybe get some ideas on where to mount the transmission cooler. Heard it cant be anywhere where its hot but the closer to the transmission the better. So I am wondering if anyones got pics of where they have theirs mounted that they would like to show.

Mine is just pull tied through my rad. I run a B&M Super Cooler.

Assuming auto. I have a big stall so I have two coolers, a large cooler mounted behind my radiator fans (the 150-160degF air is much cooler than the 200+ tranny fluid temps) and a second in the front pass oil cooler duct with a tstat controlled fan. The single cooler up front was not adequate by itself.

I have mine pull tied through my radiator up front as well. Really need to get a trans temp gauge to monitor my temps to see if its adequate.

Sounds to be the most common thing and probably easiest to do. I must do the same! Thanks everyone.

mine is in back, so is blakes
less clutter up front IMO
for some reason the powerglide setup i have runs super cool, the fan has come on twice as to date
with the th350 the fan was always running
guessing the converter is the biggest factor of that

I dont have one for my t56 but my pathfinder has one in the back as well. Since that tranny is notorious for overheating I copied Blakes rx7.

I have one tied to the front of the radiator and a smaller one hanging from the old oil cooler bracket. my bro's car has the biggest one we could fit on the front of his radiator.

Mine is in front of my rad on the passenger side close to one of the two horns. I have a 3800 stall in my 700r4. And its a B&M supper cool also.
