Nice write up....poor design on the battery hold down....there's a reason factory battery stays don't cross lengthwise....the plastic cover on the hot lead seems to be the only thing that would prevent a full-on post to post short..

Can you tell us the model of Westco battery you use? I am currently using an Odyssey and it died while I was away for some training. So it's either get a new Odyssey and disconnect the battery whenever I'm gone, or get one that doesn't require that inconvenience (sp?). Thanks
