My new baby ;)

Sold the seven. Didn't get much for it but I don't mind for now. I spent the whole day after Xmas searching and driving cars. I ended up back to this 92 SC400 gem in a back lot being ignored.

It has some dings and such and some guetto stereo wiring but for the most part completely unmolested and in perfect running order. I thought about swap potential and came to tis conclusion. I don't want anger project. I want a daily driver that I can be comfortable in and not stand out like the seven did. The entire car has 123k miles on it so I figure I got another 40k before I need to open the hood for major work. Changed the brakes today and that's all she needed.  I have a serp belt but that's tomorrow.

It has all the typical SC issues and traits. I can't wait to park it a week to send my cluster off for a restore and other stuff.

I picked up my daughters yesterday in west PA and drive through a blizzard of the most part with no issues. I was sick as hell though from a sinus thingy. Can't wait till summer so we can do these kid transfers in the dark (less stress to kids and me).

Anyway. I'm happy. The car is happy to have a home (it sat two years). I know the history of car. Old man owned it till 80k gave to his 26 year old son. Son put big thumping system in it. He stopped driving it after 7 years and it sat. All maintenance records. Ill probably get wheels and tires soon these are 16x7 114.3x5 -50 offset 225/65's so I think ill go bigger might be selling these wheels

I snapped two pics

1UZ needs boost! :)

Nice cars - somewhat sporty, LS400 brakes will make it stop, Supra coilovers and some wheels will make it look good.  How's the interior?

All of the 400's were auto. Not planning on swapping anything in the near future but if I were to swap I imagine a stick shift is going to happen.

The interior is meh, I got a bunch of cracked pieces but nothing major. The pick and pull has replacements I just don't want to pony up yet.

Drives like a dream guys. The way the car landed on me is awesome. It is my brothers dream car after all. He wants the 300 with the 2jz swap though. Me, I prefer the v8 anyway. It is one of te most reliable motors ever anyway.

My daughters love it. They think it is a bit cramped but otherwise it is very smooth.

Ls400 brake swap is a must. Easy to do. Love those cars but all the electronics and little switches will be failing left and right so get ready for that.  I still think the sc is an underrated chassis.

I owned a 92 SC400 for a bunch of years and sold it to my best friend. Bought it with 172k on it and drove it to 215k when I sold it. Replaced the t belt and rebuilt the p/s pump and other basic maintenance. That is an great car that is built like a tank, goes pretty well and is still pretty good looking. Enjoy it!
I do love what I do!
