Hey here's my car I am about half way though this build so it's not painted and it's mostly striped but it's a s5 shell and has no rust , it used to be a 600 hp rotary drag car now it goin to be a 600 hp drift car lol.
So we start at the beginning 2 months ago the car befor I got it

And the 1j when I got it a week before I picked the shell up

Chipped ecu (not sure what's been done on it)

Shell home finally

Started cleaning up the shell

And time to test fit the 1j

Using my new ibeam and 5 ton winch set up so nice love it lol

Then blocked and leveled

The the absence of shifter exstention still wait for

Poly mounts yea 70 dollars lol

And the the pedestals fabbed up with my shitty stick welder lol not finished yet

That's as far I have got so far been a slow build for so far just weekends pretty much so far but its coming along slowly
Here some goodies I bought in the meantime
Uras tierods

Fmic local shop name on the front

Box of goodies, clutch ,water pump, 2j injectors

I have pics of the pbm coils somewhere too but can't find it I will add more photos as I go

Thanks
Caleb

Oh, don't get me wrong, I want to see this finished up, but yeah, that's definitely an S4 that's been resprayed (or it's a 10AE).

What turbo are you going to use?  600hp on a 1J is likely going to be too laggy to drift.

Yes, and you can close the hood as well with a small amount of bracing removal (Assuming your mounts are made intelligently)
