I'm in the super fun dating world now, and seem to have come across someone that ticks a lot of boxes.
So I'm romantic and decided to make a flower.
wish me luck!

That's clever. I have a friend in VT owns a "racecar" shop where he does cages and welding projects for people. However business was kind of slow for him. He made a metal rose for someone and then everyone who saw it wanted one. Around Christmas and Valentines day he is swamped. I think he'd rather work on car stuff but the metal roses pay the bills. Our local news did a cover story on him a few years ago.

oh wow, $85 is crazy cheap for a hand made thing like that.

don't tell the new girl, but I made this in the past
I'd for sure charge more than $85 for it if i were to do it again.

That looks really nice! He has another local company waterjet out all the pieces. So he'll get a big sheet of stainless and all the pieces will be cut and just hanging by a sliver of metal. That saves him a ton of time. I didn't realize that the pedals were only 2-3 pieces of steel cut out in crosses that he bends/folds up.
