My buddy gave me a brand new universal DS loop that the guys renting his house left when they got kicked out. I'll be installing that shortly. One question I have is placement on the vehicle per sactioning body rules. I know the tunnel /exhaust setup on these cars leads to the belief that the DS wouldn't go far under u-joint failure. While. Believe this is somewhat true under slow speeds (where most u joint failure is lowly to occur) under higher speeds a front u-joint failure would be pretty nasty in comparison to the rear u-joint failing. If I remember correctly NHRA requires DS loop to be no more than 6" rearward of front u-jont. This is surely gong to complicate my efforts to run dual 3" exhaust between my x-member and DS. I'll post some pics as I get it figured out.
