J4-01 - CPU #2

Is that correct? when I look at the FSM J4-01 is a 20 wire plug. The one pictured in the first post is too small.

Yes, it's correct, but perhaps a little confusing. J4-01 is actually a pair of connectors. If you look at the FSM on page Z-90 you'll see that they label 2 connectors as J4-01. One is connected to the Dash harness and is a 20 pin connector. The second is connected to the Front harness and is a 8 pin connector. The one you saw is the 8 pin connector attached to the Front harness. If you keep scrolling down the page in my first post you'll see this pic:

Right square in the middle of the pic is the 20 pin J4-01 that's part of the Dash harness.

Hope that helps :)

Ah I see. So it's just the small connector I want to remove.

Thank lane

You are missing a connector in block one, B1-45. It is in between brake fluid and cruise control plugs. Anyone know what it is?

Haha! This post is just an aide and was never meant to be a FSM replacement. The fact that the FSM isn't in his folder is the problem IMO.

I've wired a lot of cars a lot nicer than that guy did and referenced this many times in the process.    That said, like Lane noted, the FSM is of course indispensable.

The ONLY thing this post could possibly add to the FSM is what each and every wire does per connector. Everything else is awesome. Dude just doesn't know what he's looking at.
