I'm in Athens, AL.

Overview:
Ya'll already know LS swaps are common, but completed LS swaps done right are not. This one was professionally over-built because the original intention was for it to be a turbo LS daily driver in the Florida heat with all of the factory comforts in tact. Turbo never happened...details below.

I purchased my 4Runner from a retired gentleman in Florida who bought it new in 1999. In 2018 at 155k miles he decided he wanted a single turbo - 6.0L - 4L80E conversion. He had the conversion done by Zero2Sixty Performance. They're a reputable performance shop in Pinellas Park Florida and they're specialize in LS swaps. The engine and transmission are from an 01 Silverado 2500 which had 75k miles when they were pulled. The owner wanted everything fresh at the time of the conversion, so Zero2Sixty rebuild both (details below) to handle the turbo application. The cooling system, fuel system, exhaust, rear end, suspension and brakes were all purposefully built to comfortably drive everyday in the Florida heat, while handling close to 700hp. The swap (- turbo) was completed in 2019 and turned over to the owner to put some shake down miles on it before actually going turbo. During this time the owner had a neck injury, underwent several surgeries and decided to sell his entire car collection and focus on RV-ing with his Wife. For this reason, the turbo never happened. Therefore, this 4Runner is completely over-built for power it's currently making. The only moving parts original to the truck are 3 of the power window motors, the wiper motor and the sunroof motor. Everything else has been replaced and/or upgraded. If you decide to go turbo, the truck is a set of injectors away from it.

Disclaimer: Parts below are from previous owner's 68yr old memory! Said he paid $30k for the truck when it was new in 1999 and another $25k to have it LS swapped in 2018. The $25k didn't include brakes and suspension. He pretty much had zero documentation. I trusted the fella when I purchased the truck last fall and so far, everything I've seen in, on and under the truck has been what he said it was. It's a great ride and I've had a hoot with it! I did the cam swap about 1k miles ago.

Tundra Big Brake Swap

Suspension:
Bilstein 5100's w/ load leveler air bags

Mechanical:
Starts up immediately, idles awesome, runs strong and shifts well. Easy to drive, reliable and comfortable enough to go anywhere. Furthest I've gone in a single day is 10.5hrs and it does great.

Exterior:
Very clean, straight, never wrecked and still wearing it's original Imperial Jade Mica paint. The Florida sun has baked the clear coat on the top surfaces which is unfortunate, but it does kick the sleeper status up a few notches. All vin tags are in place.

Interior:
Exceptionally nice and clean. Never smoked in or used to haul pets. No damage and very little signs of use. Super cold a/c that you'll have to turn down on our hottest days and the heat is the same way during the winter. Very comfortable ride that's smooth and pretty quiet considering. No annoying rattles or squeaks.

This is my truck, registered and tagged to me with a clean Alabama title in my name and insured through Hagerty.

Believe it or not the OEM “TBSS” truck mani makes the most torque compared to a ton of aftermarket manifolds other then the Fast LSXRT.

Very very good intake from GM....just so damn ugly (but better looking then the older truck mani haha)

13 years of abuse and still running STRONG!

For sure! Maybe I should've had a "2Burner" logo made!

It's been sold and the new owner drove it to St Louis last night. I'm always interested to see what vehicles actually sell for so I'll post that. I had it for sale on CL for 2.5wks, received 15-18 calls, only 2 were serious and both were lined up to come see it. First guy who came, snagged it. Sold for $12k and he got a deal for such a well built conversion.

Thank you.
