Trivial question about wheel colour
« on: May 16, 2019, 04:05:08 AM »
I am in the throws of deciding what colour to paint split rims. I had settled on matt or satin black lips and centres, but when looking at Work wheels etc., they all appear to have matt centres and gloss lips.

Is the gloss a durability thing or simply stylistic?

Has anyone had issues with matt wheels such as them getting glossy from tyres being fitted?

I'm guessing it's because matts are so damn hard to keep clean and looking nice.  I'd suggest glossy all day for wheels.
