Tidbit’s 93 LSX (ci?!?)
« on: April 08, 2018, 07:35:35 PM »
Well guys. A little about me. About 17 years ago I purchased my first FD (dream car prior to it being “cool”). That car is now stripped/blank in storage waiting for something a little over the top. One day I will work my way back to it.

Over the past decade (apts, (2) houses, multiple car projects) I finally took the last two years and nearly completed my shop. Six months ago while creeping craigslist, I picked up a running 93 FD ($4500).

My intent was to run it into the ground if I could get it by emissions, but the rotary was holding compression... so..

I sold it! Did I mention all the auto projects I do, use some form on an LS.... well. I have choices. Three engines to choose from. 427 stroker, 3.905 stock, 383 3.905 stroker low comp)

Since I like to take my sweet time on projects. This is the best stuff ever to keep rust away :)

So...

Shortlist of the build. Since I am likely going to go the path of least resistance. I decided to go with the 427 in NA. Ver 2.0 would be a TT using my 383 stroker. Technically speaking the 427 is reserved for a 1967 Chevelle (which I do not own) yet..)

GMPP LSX/LS7 heads
