Meet SuckerPunch, my multipurpose race and show car. I have received many trophies at various racing and show events over the years with this car. Just moved to the Redding area from Washington state and want to move on to other things.

This chassis started out as my NASCAR mini stock circle track racer. Currently has a mythical high revving SBC 377 mated to a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed with about 30 hours of run time on them. Lots of internal and external lightening and composite parts. All tins and chassis are powder coated, car exterior is fully vinyl wrapped in silver metallic. Sets of wheels/tires for drag racing and wheels for autox type events. There are so many aspects to this overall car I cannot list them all here but I have created a detailed list of the drivetrain. Fully independent and adjustable suspension. Adjustable clutch tamer and line lock for simple drag racing burnouts, staging and launches. I have a binder of receipts including part numbers to build this, I'm kind of afraid to add it all up, so I won't :)

This car is ready to go without any servicing or changes needed. Drive train can easily be swapped into any small Chevy like Camaro, Nova, Malibu and even directly into an 2nd Gen FC RX7 without any further fabrication.

Dyno tuned on 8/5/16 on a DynoJet machine by Service Pro in Nooksack, WA.
410 rwhp
(makes best power from 3200 to 6300 rpm in 4th gear pulls, Revs to 8500 rpm quickly)

408 rwtq
(at 4500 rpm)

Will run at the top of bracket 6 (6.0xx) at the Monroe 1/8 Drags at Evergreen Speedway, Monroe, WA. High 1.4sec 60ft times when I launch good. Recorded the fastest trap speeds during autox events this last winter. Gets lots of attention at the car shows because there isn't anything else remotely like it.

My intent while building this was not to go for most horsepower I could build but more towards a high power to weight ratio and experiment with composites and coatings.

Anyone truly interested can come over or call me and I can give them the tour.

Some older video here to get a sense of construction and how quick this engine revs up and down:

(Some peripheral engine parts have been changed since this video above to make it breath even better, larger fuel lines, fuel rail, Holley 750 carb)

Short 1/8 drags videos

Short autox video

I have put together a complete drivetrain build sheet with all descriptions and part numbers. Please email me and I can send it to you.

I will update this ad when sold.

Honest question - is there anything left on this car that's Mazda besides the rear end and fenders?

Thanks for your question :)

All the front and rear clip including dimensions like wheelbase and mount points like engine and transmission crossbar are still intact, suspension arms, brakes, hubs, spindles, non-power steering rack are factory Mazda . . . Better to keep those peripherals stock and easy to replace, especially for short track racing.

Imagine 30 cars all jambed up on a 3/8mi oval pushing each other around for the lead, it tends to bend peripheral parts.

Challenge: Can anyone guess at what the front fenders are from? I'll give you the clues of 1985 and not from Japan.
